Noah's Ark 2011/2012 Tentative Schedule "Remember to keep Christ first through reading His word daily and being a disciple for Jesus Christ" Aug. 26, 2011 Open House Sept. 2, 2011 1st Tuition Payment Sept. 6, 2011 1st day of classes Oct. 11, 2011 Field Trip-Perry Fair Nov. 10, 2011 Veterans Day (Holiday) No School on Friday; therefore, Veterans Day will be celebrated the day before on this Thursday. All students are required to socialize with a veteran for a minimum of 30 minutes. For example, you can talk with a veteran by phone, visit them at their home, or you can take a veteran out to lunch; it's very important that we let our veterans know that we appreciate their present or past service, so use this day to show them that you really appreciate their service!!!(Talk with them, ask questions and be prepared to discuss in class). Nov 16, 2011 Parent/Teacher Conference (Students will be dismissed after the conference). Nov. 21-24, 2011 Thanksgiving Break Nov. 28, 2011 Field Trip (Museum of Aviation in Warner Robins) Dec. 19 2011-Jan 2, 2012 Christmas Break!! Jan. 3, 2012 Students return to school/Field Trip (Location to be announced soon) Jan. 16, 2012 Martin Luther King Jr. (Holiday) Feb. 20, 2012 President's Day (Holiday) Mar. 16, 2012 Field Trip (Students will report to school on this Friday) (Location to be announced soon) Mar. 28, 2012 Parent/Teacher Conference (Students will be dismissed after the conference). Apr. 6, 2012 Good Friday/Resurrection Day Holiday Apr. 11-13, 2012 Iowa Test of Basic Skills Testing/Students will report for testing on this Friday. Apr. 16-19, 2012 Spring Break!!! Apr. 23, 2012 Teacher/Student Appreciation Day (Holiday) May. 17, 2012 Field Trip (Location to be announced soon). If possible, we would like for the parents to join us on this field trip, so we ask that you modify your schedule as soon as possible. May. 21-23, 2012 Pre-planning for next school term/Activity week/Field Days May. 24, 2012 Honor Day/Last day of classes!! (We will meet at a chosen restaurant and eat together as a family. At the end of the meal, students will be dismissed for the summer)! |
